WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Blake Farenthold (TX-27) had the following comment after he voted to repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act:
“The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is not affordable or good for patients. It is bad for our health care system, bad for our economy and bad for seniors. There is no doubt that we need reform, but it should be a common-sense, patient centered approach that protects access to care and allows doctors and patients, not Washington bureaucrats, to make important health care decisions.”
