It's official the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act will include $500-billion in new taxes
In a surprising decision, the Supreme Court upheld most portions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), claiming that the individual mandate to purchase health insurance was in fact a tax. After repeated assurances by the President that this was not a tax, Americans can now look forward to a higher tax bills. House Republicans want to ensure that this gigantic tax increase does not go into effect, and so we will vote to repeal the PPACA tomorrow.

I want to hear from you on the Supreme Court decision and the vote to repeal ObamaCare
The decision by the Supreme Court gives the legislature virtually unlimited taxing power. Americans should hold on to their wallets and be wary of how the government will put to use this new found power. In light of our worsening economic situation this bill remains a terrible policy — it is a burden on small business and middle class families and will add trillions to our national debt. I believe the vast majority of Americans disagree with the Supreme Court’s ruling, and I plan to vote to repeal and replace the PPACA this week.
